If you were present during the time that this video was recorded. You would understand how hard the blood was pumping. The amount of work that the heart was putting in. The gallons of sweat (not that matters) was present on the shirts of the family members and on the surface of the floor. You have entered the world of dance fitness and more so the realm of M. Nicholson Hip Hop Fitness. A realm that is not quite the same as any other but rather a realm that set the precedent for the others.
Migo’s “Fight Night” routine is one of my favorite routines. It goes on my top twenty of M. Nicholson Hip Hop Fitness routines list. Mike Nicholson created this routine to be a hybrid one. A combination of fun, fitness and a dash of dance. It’s also meant to be on that is supposed to challenge the participants / hip hop fitness family members when they first engage in doing it. It’s meant to goad the fitness enthusiasts into participating in a call and response interaction to further energize the atmosphere in the room. The song feels like what the routine is and vice versa. It achieves it’s purpose quite well.
